Donnybrook comes alive with the Acclaim Fun Day!

Donnybrook came alive on Saturday, 22 November as over 350 families, neighbours and friends gathered to celebrate the arrival of Acclaim, YourLand’s newest masterplanned community. The Acclaim Fun Day brought more than just entertainment – it offered locals a first glimpse into the future of this exciting new neighbourhood.

Held at the Acclaim Sales Office on Donnybrook Road, the event welcomed the community with an afternoon of free food, music and activities. From wood-fired pizza and gelato to an animal farm, face painting, giant bubble play, games and live DJ sets, there was something for every age to enjoy.

YourLand Senior Development Manager Penny Coia said the event was a chance to bring people together and share the vision behind Acclaim.

“Acclaim is about creating a neighbourhood that celebrates connection and belonging,” Penny said. “It was wonderful to see the community come together to enjoy a fun day out and get a feel for the place we are creating – one that will grow and evolve alongside Donnybrook itself.”

Acclaim is set to become a vibrant and connected new community in Melbourne’s north, with more than 1,000 lots planned. The future neighbourhood will feature proposed new parks, a Prep–12 Government school and a range of local amenities – offering families an environment designed for convenience, wellbeing and long-term value.

Penny said the Fun Day was just the beginning of what’s to come.

“We’re committed to delivering more than homes. We’re creating the infrastructure, open spaces and lifestyle opportunities that make everyday life better. Acclaim will become an important part of Donnybrook’s story, and it was exciting to share the first step of that journey with the community.”
